It’s been a good week here at 420 Jars. Four days until we leave for Amsterdam. New website launched today and I’m writing this entry on our new Macbook from my couch. It looks like everything is going to be ready for our trip. 12 days on the other side of the world. It’ll be the first time either of us will be out of the country (except for Canada or Mexico). It’s going to be quite a time. We have a canal house for the first week that we’re there. The 2 of us plus 4 of our close friends. We’ll have quite an entourage though. There will be 12 of us in all. Many who have been before and know the ropes. I think it’s going to be better than most can expect for their first time to Amsterdam. I’m expecting lots of backstage VIP action. We’re 420 Jars after all. Right? The Official Stash Jar of the mother fucking cup! We’ll have lots of photos and video from the cup. Along with our new website we’ll be launching a blog too. Eight days and counting. Well I’ve been counting for about the past 50 days. A lot has been accomplished in the past few weeks. Our palette to Amsterdam leaves Thursday. Shipping international is a pain in the ass to say the least. All our apparel will be done in the next few days too. And…the new laptop. Very excited for that. So the next few days will be filled with packing, planning and anticipating. I’m a bit of a girl when it comes to packing though. I’m going to try and pack conservatively, but we’ll be gone 12 days, so that’s going to require a lot of clothes if you ask me. I know I’ll be taking my limit for the plane. Hopefully I’ll be able to do some laundry while we’re over there. Maybe find some cute dutch girl to do it for me. Although we have a apartment the first week that we are there and I think there is a W/D. I’m sure it’ll be just fine. Excitement is mounting. Our days our numbered here. I better make the most of it.
